Hillsborough is the most generous county in Rob's area if you pay the residential solid waste assessment: ten free cubic yards of bulky items and appliances a year, plus a dozen tires, at any of five collection centers. The trade-off is the rules. You hand-unload everything yourself, staff don't help, dump trailers aren't allowed, and you need both a photo ID with a county address and a copy of your tax assessment at the gate.
