Clearing a lot for a mobile home or a barn in Mulberry

Mulberry's edges are cleared rural lots, mobile homes and room for a couple of trucks, and the most common clearing call is exactly that: a lot that's grown back and needs opening up to set a new mobile home, a pole barn or a workshop. The parcels along SR-37 and SR-60 toward the Mosaic land have long fence lines and old outbuildings, and a lot of them have been in one family for generations. When a property changes hands the fence is buried and the back corner is oak scrub. Rob pulls the posts and wire, pushes the scrub, loads the downed oaks, and the trailer takes it out. Big standing trees near the house come down by a tree service first. Imperial Lakes lots are the exception: standard yards, standard gates, and the stand-on mini does the hedge lines and back corners there.

Mulberry is a scheduled run, quoted flat

At 36 road miles and about 55 minutes by way of Bartow, Mulberry isn't same-day country and Rob won't pretend it is. He groups it with Bartow, Highland City and Lakeland, a day or two out, with the machine and the trailer on one trip. Text photos and a short video and he quotes flat before the machine unloads: $350 for a half trailer of debris, $700 for a full, skid steer time quoted with the job.
