Rob is honest about where Tampa sits on his list after weather: the calls near Davenport get worked first because that's where the trucks are, and Tampa gets a firm day, not a window. With two trucks, one can run I-4 west while the other stays home. Limbs ride as they fell. Nobody cuts them to four feet or ties them in bundles.

What makes a Tampa yard pickup worth the drive

A bag of clippings or one palm's worth of fronds is a 77-minute drive each way for Rob and a long wait for you, and Hillsborough's Northwest and South County facilities take yard and wood waste if you have a truck. What pencils out is the lot out toward Mango that needs a day with the grapple, the storm pile that fills a trailer, or a cleanout in Orient Park where the yard comes with the house.
