Can you pull palms and hedges with the roots?
Yes. The skid steer grapple takes shrubs and small palms out root ball and all. Big mature trees are a tree service's job; Rob will tell you which is which from a photo.
Do you take the dirt and rock too?
Rock beds and gravel go on the trailer, and the bit of dirt on a root ball goes with it. A real pile of dirt doesn't; Rob quotes that haul-out through his dump-truck partners per job. If you want the topsoil left for new beds, say so.
